Any one on here know where I can find/have made decals for a 90 Mercury outboard.

Genuine Mercury ones seem to be about £85 !!

Probably get them made up cheaper at a bespoke signwriting company?

this is the first place I would look;

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_kw=Decals&_kw=Mercury&_kw=Outboard

or slightly more specific;

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?LH_AvailTo=3&_nkw=mercury+90hp+decals

I bought some for my Suzuki outboard from a chap in NZ, arrived within a couple of days and great quality and about £60 cheaper than Suzuki wanted to charge..

When I restored a Merc 80hp I got a company to make them up as Merc no longer produced them... as it was 30+ years old not really surprised. It was not the cheapest option but they were 100% accurate.

Thanks Firefly. Great help, I have made the mistake of ripping off the old tatty ones before sourcing/pricing some new ones.

Cant find the ones I want there but I am sure with a bit more research...........

Must learn to be less impetuous!

Engine number is 0981 8358 and it has a silver banding round the cowl. How old does that make the engine?
