Deben and Ore river entrances 2016

Came out of the Deben on Wednesday. One hour after high water. Plenty of water if you stay in the latest recommended route, which seems quite narrow. Sorry, but I didn't see the least depth, I was preoccupied with the transits.
The swell pushing me towards the rocks on the Felixstowe side was a little unnerving. Not for the faint hearted. (Like me!) I don't think I will be doing it again anytime soon.

I came back in to the Deben yesterday just after low water of the neap tide (1.0m)
I stayed about 2 or 3 m north of the line of the red buoys and kept the inner red in line with a gate in the sea wall and then left the Green about 4 m off to starboard.
I had the keel up a bit and would have needed about 1m depth.
I did just touch on that line.
I am told by a local Angling Boat owner that he ignores the outer red and lines up the inner red with the Golf Club House and then turns onto the green once up to the inner red.
He believes there is more water that way.

Hi guys (1st post here)

I've had a good search of the forums for an answer to my question, but I'm guessing the answer will change every year.
I draw 2.5ft and am looking to head out of the Deben and up to Orford. Is there enough water to head over the Deben Bar 2 hours after low water?

Looking to head over this Saturday which is neaps (low water 1355 looking to leave Bawdsey at 4pm). I'd like the tide with me up the Ore into Orford.
