There must be quite a few who knew Bob who had lived for the last few years on his catamaran in the Ria Formosa. I first met him in the early eighties when I was teaching diving in Vilamoura and Bob spent time there between his frequent trips to the West Indies in his Snowgoose.
I shall miss him.

Sad, met him in Bruces, two years ago? He didnt look well then.

Didn't know him and condolences to those who did.

However, spending your last day anchored off Culatra must be infinitely preferable to a nursing home in Blighty.

Bobs memorial service will be held on 19th January at Faro...all old friends welcome. Please pm me for details
Only met Bob once or twice. Same as Stu post above. If you could please PM me the details I will put a notice up on the board in the heads at Bruces Yard.
