It has been reported that you have today stirred the "sailors of the south coast" to join you in your campaign against poverty in Africa by setting sail to collect possible "campaigners against poverty" from the northern shores of france and conveying them to Edinburgh* so that they might express their feelings to the gathered international figures at the G8 conference.
I must inform you that, none of us who own private craft are able to convey passengers for any reason whatsoever due to the restrictions of our respective insurance policies.
Youi may suggest that we make a stand against such a "capitalist" restraint but I would remind you that after the dust has settled it will be us who must pick up the costs if anything were to go awry whilst you continue to exist on the income derived from your previous existance as a lavishly remunerated pop star.
You should be aware, sir, that most who own private pleasure craft in this country do so out of the sweat of their labour and cannot be expected to use them to support your chosen cause.
Your targeting of this particular section of our society is totally inappropriate and should be withdrawn immediately. We cannot provide you with a modern day "Dunkirk" even if we wanted to.

(grandson of one who was charged with harbouring the IRA (old brigade) in 1912 so you can't accuse me of being a f....ng colonialist s..t - to use your usual vernacular
* have you any f'ing realisation of how far and therefore how long it would take to get there from the south coast?
Note to the site regulator:-
There have been several notations that might appear to have ambiguous or even indescrete meanings in this post. I would ask you to bear in mind that the person to whom this post is directed is known as only being receptive to "anglo-saxon" terminology in the majority of his dealings with the media. You must also be aware that this post is intended, from a professional practitioner in that field, to caution against a particular course of action unless one's insurers are in agreement with one's intended actions
