Mine is showing 10.2v for domestic and up to 15v on engine start battery with engine NOT running (I have standard dom/engine set up with isolator on each battery but no 1/2/both/off selector).

This has to be either :

A short on the cabling which is in effect connecting the batteries in series (otherwise where is the extra voltage coming from )

Or:

The DCM600 is up the spout ie it is an instrumentation problem.

Agreed ?

This has to be a fault with the unit or the wiring to it, you cant get 15v from a 12v lead acid, it's just possible you could from 24v but one battery would have to have more than half the cells shorted so would not be working at all as a battery. You might have the meter wired accross both batteries but with a significant resistance. Best way to trouble shoot is the get a handheld volt meter, start at the DCM unit and measure the voltage on each line working back to the battery untill you find where the fault is.
