DC to ac inverters

has anyone any recommendations on a good inverter to retrofit around 2700w maybe?
Any paricular makes to go for or features?
Is an integrated one with charger in any way better to stand alone version?
Any good websites to visit for inverters ?
Hoping some out there has one out there to run TVs and microwaves etc when not on shore power and might give a steer on pros and cons apart from costs

To run a TV, get one that has a DC power pack. Preferably 12V, but DC-DC converters are cheap.

Why 2700w? Even for a microwave and a TV at the same time that is huge. If you do have a need for 2700w (hair dryer?), can you afford the consequent power drain?
