Iskra amj 4761 dc motor and not sure where the short
Link cable goes to make it run clockwise on my capstan
The terminals are marked F1 F2 and A which is next to
The F2 terminal and on the other side is a terminal unmarked.
And i don’t want to try guess where the cables go as the
Motor is not protected .

thanks and have sent them a message but was hopeing to try
the winch out as soon as and thought some one on here would
know the answer and i think that its F1 and F2 thats joined
but would like to be sure.

I'd guess F1 and F2 are the connections to the field winding..... so wont be joined.

If this is just a motor... with no attached solenoid then I assume the other two are the connections to the armature via the brushes.

I assume that field windings and armature windings will be connected in series. Reversing the polarity of one or the other will reverse the rotation.

Perhaps the unmarked terminal is earth ( negative)

then linking A to one of the F terminals and the positive supply to the other will make it run in one direction. Reversing the connections to the F terminals will make it rotate in the opposite direction.
