It's great to see a successful British producer scaling-up and starting a bigger model range

Dazcat have started producing a 1495 model

Fabulous looking yacht, we agree, and our test editor, Toby, is hoping to join the crew for the Fastnet Race in August, so stand by for an on board report, photos and video from her maiden ocean race

its a shame its taken so long , in fact hasnt happened yet ,for bigger cat racing to integrate into every day club racing .

Bigger cats i mean are not beach cats and can be left on moorings , Like the old mocra boats , Ive raced dinghies cats and leadmines all my life , still have a one off racing solo beach cat and for my sins a bloody sonata , which i also race , infact is main racing I get these days apart from white sailing my b38 .

Thing is im fed up with snotter , always have been , would like something far more fun to sail and entice crew onto !, looking at sportsboats , but they are still as dull as ditch water upwind as all monos are compared to multi I would sail , would be great to have fleet of ole firebirds , dragonflys , clyde cats etc , must be good price these days if you can find them , but guess I wont live long enough to see this happen :) would save me having to rush down road for two nights racing :) , still its been winter up here this year in scotland and my stealth cat not had airing yet , must be gettin old .

Hissy Fit is entered in next weeks MOCRA regatta at Plymouth...... so lets see how she gets on shall we? I'll certainly be trying not to get in her way!
