Day Sailer Mooring Essex

I have been thinking about the viability of keeping a small daysailer on a mooring. Something like a Hawk 20 or Devon Yawl. It would need to be a bit more sheltered than Tam Lin’s mooring which is a bit exposed for a small, open boat.
Any ideas or suggestions?
