Davits

Generally having done a search most seem to prefer Simpson swivelling davits. Any good or bad comments?

Does anyone have a picture of them transom mounted?

Before I buy there is a make of retractable davits that stay in situ but seem to pull back in that I cannot find on google. any ideas as I woud like to look at those before maiking a final decision.

Have you considered the single type that enables the dinghy to be swung inboard ?
