Davit supplier

I'm looking for a supplier of davits for a 2.5 - 3 m long inflatable. I don't have much horizontal space on the aft part of the boat and so they must be transom-mounted. In the past I have seen some that have a lower spade-shaped termination that slots down into an upward opening track-like fitting on the transom. Any recommendations please?

You don't need davits that are specially designed to go on the transom. Just go with whatever davits are suitable and have some brackets made up in s/s.
Our brackets extend over the rear deck and are through bolted to backing plates under the deck and through the transom. The davits 'could' have been bolted to a rear deck, but ours are fastened to brackets bolted to the transom etc

I had them made to measure for rather less than off the shelf.
