Anyone have any route timings for David's Thames swim?
Anyone have any route timings for David's Thames swim?
on the website:
Track David’s route as he navigates his way through the toughest, most dangerous and physically gruelling challenge he’s ever faced.
that'll be the MoBo's then ;-))
Just approached Eynsham Lock. Then onto King's Lock, Thames Bridge (Oxford Bypass), Godstow Bridge, & break by Godstow Lock.
Tomorrow David will swim from Northmoor Lock, via Bablock Hythe, Eynsham, Oxford and Osney, finishing day two at Abingdon.
Wed 7th Sep sees David swim from Abingdon to Goring (via Culham, Shillingford and Moulesford.)
Thurs 8th Sep sees David swim from Goring to Henley (via Whitchurch, Caversham and Reading.)
Fri 9th Sep sees David swim from Henley to Windsor (via Bisham, Marlow, and Maidenhead.)
10th Sep sees David swim from Windsor to Teddington (via Staines, Chertsey and Kingston.)
Sun 11th Sep sees David swim from Teddington to Putney (via Kew.)
Mon 12th Sep sees David swim from Putney to Westminster for the final leg of his epic journey.
Would this timetable be David's, by any chance?
Good luck to him in his epic swim.
On a different note a mate of ours has just swum the entire length of Windermere...no wetsuit either..
No locks on Windermere though!
You should never look down when confronted by a man in pedos ! Its the law !
