Dart Marina Group acquired by Premier Marinas

Just received an email that Dart Marina now forms part of the seemingly ever expanding Premier Marinas.

Never even tried to get a berth there so I imagine the chances of doing so will become exceedingly slim with half the Solent having reciprocal berthing.

If I have read the email correctly they are also going to be operating the higher ferry, maybe they could take over the one at Cowes also.

I went up Noss last week it’s a shit hole at the moment with the building going on, and I can see it going on for another 4 years.

I suppose they could replace the various moorings downstream of the Higher Ferry with finger berths like Lymington are doing with the Bath road moorings between Berthon and the Yacht Club

Ask the staff. They’ve been told to say open by July. They need practice doing it with a straight face, but they do stick to the party line.

Dartmouth side, where do the current moorings owners park?

I didn’t think Noss looked too bad from tube videos by a certain well known boat reviewer. We have always found being at kingswear convenient -nice train to Paignton and reasonable drinking at pub and yacht club that side. It seemed to have a helpful chandlery as well. Close to ferry to Dart side as well -don’t really know why you would choose Darthaven?
