What would be the consequences of leaving longer times between coats?
Thanks both, so a a quick waft over with 240 grit should sort it! Mind you from distant memory of using it I may not need a second coat.
personally i would 120 grade, in fact just done some today with Blakes white bilge paint after stripping out heater duct

PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES
In Good Condition Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180-280
grade paper
you are applying protective bilge paint not, not the final topsides gloss coat. you need to abrade the substrata to get a key,220 is too fineJust by chance I have 220 grit paper, so that's what I'll use, if a second coat is required.
