Has anyone got or know of a mooring available at Dale for a few weeks from next week onwards for a 7 tonne ketch?

Well, nobody it seems want to use the remains of the visitors pontoon at Dale. As I type this I'm watching boats moor-up and then leave. Don't know why. the bit that's left seems OK and has cleats and everything. Perhaps it just seems a bit weird. I'm watching one guy looking at the end where the other bits have fallen off and thinking "I'm sure there is something missing and why is nobody here?" So...you might have it all to yourself for a few weeks!

Today they have just had the tug in with the missing bit of pontoon refitted.As you said , nearly every time i used it it was empty.
