Swmbo is away but might come in speed boat, big boat is out of the water. Bummer, can't have a beer unless i find some non drinking crew. Anyone want to helm a 40knt speedboat?

You could ask ginger nigel (running man) he dons't drink coz of his training regime but he only knows boats he can out run on foot,er not on water tho only linford can do that, oh yeah and a bloke in the bible.

We'll be down on Weds, Matt. It should be a 'sailing section' meeting as well, first weds of the month. Not really interested in quizzes, but I suppose we'll have a go. There are a number of us waiting to do our yachtmaster shorebased, if you are interested, have a word.

Hopefully sail at the weekend, too. rib is out now and mooring put to bed for the winter. Can't help with the helming, sorry Andy.

I don't finish work till 8 or 9 on wed. Is it still worth coming down for a beer or will I arrive (I'm Cardiff based) or will I arrive just in time to be chucked out?

Well, the bar doesn't open until 8, anyway, and people wander in after that. I can't say how many will be there. You could always ring the bar and ask if they were closing early if it was empty?
