I have purchased some 4 inch foam to replace the internals of some badly soaked cushions.

Anybody got any good tips on how to cut it to size?

I have played around with scissors, there must be a better way.

Thx

If you cut it yourself you may lose the fire retardant properties of the foam as it is usually spray on. This is not definite as I have said this in reply before and someone corrected me in some foams are resistant throughout.

But it is still the case that many are only fire resistant as they are sprayed once shaped. I think you can buy the spray, it may be worth doing it periodically anyway, spraying that is.

The consequences of foam burning even for a couple of minutes down below are too dreadful to think about. Just a heads up, we had ours sprayed by a business contact of my nearest and dearest. I will have a look in a bit to see if I can find some...

EDIT >> This might do it fabric spray, I might get some anyway to do the fabrics such as curtains.
