It's in situ in the engine bay mate, not a hope in hell a grinder is going in there. I don't mind the labour, I just want a clean cut.

hacksaw should be good or a dremmel with cutting blade - definately not anything with spark potential.

For tight spaces I use a hacksaw 'blade handle' type. Gets into most places, just make sure you have spare blades as the blade itself has less support than the ordinary hacksaw and might flex/bend during work
