On my boat I have a temptingly unused rectangular area of coachroof just forward of the companionway hatch which would make a great place to put a solar panel. Difficulty is that I can't find an off-the-shelf panel that would utilise all the available area. So, yes I could put a smaller-than-optimal panel there but that doesn't appeal to the perfectionist within me.
So, then I found a uk firm called Gb-sol that makes custom solar panels to the size (and shape) that you require:

I just wondered if any forum member has any experience of using this firm (or, indeed any other similar) and could shed any light on the pros and cons, not least cost, compared to a standard panel, before I go to the trouble of making a template and entering into negotiation.

Thanks
Jeremy
