Curious AIS Problem

Now all working OK .
AIS can detect signals from vessels in the Docks at Gillingham.
Have turned off the collision alarm , warning we are about to collide with that boat just up the pontoon.
VHF marine radio can hear commercial traffic at Sheeerness.
Everything has it own aerial now and boat looks like a Porcupine.
Now noticed one of the saloon downlighters has decided to fail and of course its not the LED bit its the body of the lamp and you cannot get the original unit, so need to buy pair of similar ones.

For anyone curious as to why a replacement aerial splitter was not simply purchased and installed
Impossible to find location of old unit sans a chainsaw and new were just under £300.00 each.
