[Blatant Plug on].

This year, I finally got off my arse and took the boat up to the Baltic (where it still is) for four months. We used a 'real-time' website to let people know what we were up to.

The website still exists, and has been structured to be hopefully of some use to others going up there. In addition to our illustrated log, the site has some info and pictures on places to visit, and a resources section with reviews of the available harbour guides etc. We're still slowly extending it.

If anyone's interested, (dont all rush at once...) the site is here

Wonderful! Although I'll be going in the opposite direction your site will be of great assistance in many cases.
I have just bought a HR-Monsun today!
If you want to keep in touch please look at my details.

Site looks great - will have a proper browse when I have a mo'. We were just discussing the Baltic this w/end - long term plan anyway but prompted by a full page ad in the S Times mag - Baltic cruises 2 weeks from £2495 to £3895 per person based on double occupancy.

Makes cruising on your own boat seem really cost effective !
