Cruise Reports Cruiser with outboards?

I'm thinking of getting one (second hand). A Merry Fisher 855 would be perfect but I'm only allowed up to 29 feet in the marina and with the outboards I'd be pushing my luck. Does anyone know other suitable makes?

I dunno really (not 'tape measured it') but just delivered another Benny Barracuda 9 today, impressed with it. What is the deal with 'up to 29ft? ' the amount it sticks out or a weight problem?

We have a Parker 750 CC with 300hp Verado & its a beast deep V rib hull. Will take a force 6 Or more ! We have had RIbs from 5 to 11mtrs & its like a tardas. One of the best made boats we have had
