Title says it all.
I'm not terribly familiar with the area so perhaps I enjoyed it more than some. I rather liked his weaving of well-scripted economic history into an easy-going travelogue narrative.

although I do sometimes wish that they would do the journey for real rather than doing most of it with the boat on a trailer
To be fair to Tom Fort the tv show was a reenactment of his 'real' voyage which first appeared in his book "Downstream: Across England in a Punt" way back in 2009! There's a thought Dylan, you could do a speedy version of KTL and just drop Katie L in at various places and finish your trip in no time at all! Only joking of course, for me the longer the better, you (Jill) may have other thoughts?I agree
