We are a sailing couple just setting out on long term cruising on a Moody 36, (1979).
We plan on leaving Guernsey in the Channel Island as soon as possible making our way along the north brittany coast down to Audierne. From there we will decide whether to go straight across biscay or coast hop down france and then across to northern spain. Then onto portugal and gibraltar.
I have pretty good sailing experience but have never crossed biscay, my missus has limited experience.
We are not in a hurry and we sailing for enjoyment not punishment.
We are very chilled out and enjoy a good laugh. We have both "retired" early so are not very rich, but not on a shoestring.
I smoke, she doesn't, we both like a beer and a wine. we enjoy a meal out now and again but have fun "cooking"
So we are looking for 1 or 2 people, perhaps a couple, who are capable of helping out.
Probably enthusism and attitude are preferable to huge amounts of sailing experience.
On our trip I will be looking to learn guitar and we would both like to learn spanish, so spanissh speaking guitar players are most welcome
If you fancy a pleasant trip, have the time, and are available pretty soon, get in touch.
regards
Roy and Sue
