Giving the boat its yearly service a few days ago my husband experienced a problem with a seacock jamming.
We got an on site firm to come and have a look at the problem but nothing could be done without the boat being lifted as the seacock was stuck fast.
Chi Marina could not lift us in the forseeable future as they were busy and we desperately wanted to take the boat the the Forum Meet that weekend .
Due to other commitments we had to leave the boat early Tuesday morning and could not return until the Thursday afternoon.
A call to the Trader yard and two guys came down that day - took the boat on one engine (the engine with the bowthruster was inopperable) through the lock and round to the Trader yard.
It was lifted immediately, all seacocks and hoses and skinfittings replaced, propellers cleaned, all external annodes replaced, rudders repainted and was ready for our inspection on the Thursday afternoon.
We were then presented with a very reasonable bill (exactly what I had estimated!!) /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Trader comes in for a lot of stick on this Forum so I am happy to give credit where it is due for a bit of outstanding service and a job very well done.
Thanks to Peter Ellis and his crew we did get to go to the ball /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif and extra well done for getting her through the Chi lock and the horrible entrance into Emsworth with no bowthruster and without a scratch.

PS - The sweetest moment of the weekend was when we handed the ropes to the guy at Mercury and he commented on how good our engines sounded /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
