CPD is poorly

I can assure you all that Alan is still laughing. He looked in far better nick than I thought he would.
He still has some tests to go through, but the signs are good.

Best wishes to Alan - sorry to hear he's been poorly (from Mr & Mrs Chellers, I still haven't updated my username!)

By the way, I looked in the Lounge for the original thread about Al and barely recognised it. Why has it turned into a forum version of nuts/zoo? I shan't be venturing there again!

Hi All, many thanks for all the support for Alan, he really appreciates it. Good to meet you on Saturday too Jim. We all got a bit of a shock but he's on the mend. Been texting him today & his scan earlier today looks promising & results are expected tomorrow. He's off the high dependancy ward & hopefully he'll be out on Friday. Thank you all again on his behalf, sure he'll be thanking you all himself when he can.

Gary (Alan's brother)

Would love to, depending on work & timing (Oostende was actually a bit of a tester for me to see If I had the sea legs, only been out a few times previously - coped OK i think). I really enjoyed the comp crew course back end of last year in Gibraltar & wanting to do the Day Skipper course next (again depending on time & work)

Latest is that Al will be going in for a repeat op tomorrow afternoon. The outlook is good, and I believe he is in safe hands.
He is in very good humour, and is considering his post op options.

Nay bother.
