Cox 22, Cox Master Mariner 22, Cox 27 and Cox Marine Ltd

Take the dot off the end of com /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nope, that don't work either /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Doh!

My understanding is that when Cox ceased manufacturing the 22 K H Marine of Brightlingsea then used the design and made the Swin Ranger. Spec, and web site are here
http://www.swinranger.co.uk/specs.htm
The specs look identical. Click on the home link and you will then find pictures of different boats. The guy who owns the web site also posts on this site.

I look after/use 2 Cox 22's and tried (in vain) to log on to the forum and add some details.
What looked like a simple registration page just kept me going round & round in circles, eventually it said that my email address is already being used - I wonder by whom?

PM me if you want more details of the boats.

Peter.

Like you I had difficulty accessing the site but finally succeeded.
I have a Master Mariner built by Proirycraft who I believe were the successors to Cox. It is an indentical boat the only noticable difference externialy is that it has two ports Port and Starboard where as the Cox built ones had one elongated one. There is however a differnt layout inside to the Cox built ones and Cox owners who have been onboard my boat have said a better layout.
A Google search for Priorycraft St Olav's Norfolk has so far drawn a blank so any information on the builders would be welcome.

About 4 years back our club boson located the guy that owned the plugs for producing the boats. He had them stored in a field and wanted rid - he said we could have them FOC providing we collected them.

We (the boson & me) asked our committee to go for it but they declined - don't know what happened to them after that - don't even know if we still have the contact info?

Peter.

Thanks, Execimp
Swin Ranger 22 is a very different boat from the Cox Master Mariner 22. I looked at both before buying my Cox. Shame that Cox doesn't (yet?) have an enthusiastic website like the Swin's.

Hello, Boatman

If you can't access go-sail, post your details here and I'll add them on the forum at go-sail. If you email go-sail, I've found them very helpful.

I tried to PM you but I notice that you have declined that method of contact. If you PM me I'll be happy to answer or supply any info.

Peter.

What has happened to the threads on the Cox Motor Sailers on the Go-sail forum..? Can these still be accessed..? Or moved onto this forum so we can continue an excellent source of information for Cox owners.
Paul

Hi Peter, I've only just found this thread, but I too am interested in finding out more about the Cox Master Mariner. Go-Sail draws a blank, I realise that this may be a long shot, but do you still have have boat details you can send me, please?
