Cowes yacht haven

We went over to Cowes yesterday and planned to stay in East Cowes but there were full so went into Cowes Yacht Haven.

Thry put put us on to S2 which was a little rolly when we get there but a few hours later was really bad so we headed off back to Gosport in the evening. How can anybody stay there when it is that rolly?

I was in Yarmouth on Sunday night, that was quite rolly as well. A stiff NE'erly blowing straight into the harbour. I quite like the motion, rocks me off to sleep!

Dredging now finished at East Cowes Marina so should be back to normal soon.

IIRC there was also a notice about how the current is changing in the marina based on tides and the new breakwater. Last summer it was saying something like +/-25% flow rate, not tide.

Anyway, we're going to put Humu Humu there for the summer. From IOW festival to just before Cowes Week i.e. bail before £xxx per m for Cowes. Have done it before but given A-Cup coming in '15, not so sure now!
