Not been an argument about this for a while - so:
I have just read a book by Sir James Bisset former commodore of Cunard Line.
He describes leaving port flying a flag of the country of intended destination.
I have never heard of this before
Is it current practice?
If not was it ever or did it just die out?
Perhaps we could re-introduce it
