Are Cougar still making RIBs? You hardly see any for sale on the used market. I had an R8 in 2007 and it was awesome.

"Team Cougar" won the Cowes to Torquay race last year.

If you're interested in a high performance RIB, you can do worse than checking out this beast just presented at Genoa boat show.
Probably the very last hull that Levi designed before he left us (RIP), and with an outstanding wave crunching capability, according to a boating mate who had the opportunity to try it.

Not sure if they are still making. Airship are building ribs in the US under licence.

Haven't seen many for sale on the second hand market for a while either.

Not sure we would get another one but the R9 we had was unbelievably efficient with a decent turn of pace for an inboard diesel.

Our R8 was incredible in a big sea. I'll never forget bouncing of the wind over tide round Start Point like it was a ripple in the Med. Quite fancy the R10 with twin outboards.
