Firstly, can I apologise to Chinita and others for my comparison of parts of the Algarve to Blackpool. I was wrong.
We are near Malaga and in comparison the Algarve is the equivalent of the lake district.
To make it worse we have been robbed with a smile by the marina manager and will be stuck here for several days due to the predicted high winds.
It is a concrete jungle of English here with red and white stripped people everywhere trying to burn themselves for two weeks.
We did ask in town if there was a little part of Spanish still around anywhere. We were told to take a bus into the hills. There was nowhere in walking distance.
Is there anywhere east of Malaga worth visiting and is there anywhere that won't take my last remaining shirt off my back?
GET ME OUT OF HERE...... I know it's going some but even Ramsgate is better... only just.
