Cost of getting anti-foul applied professionally?

All food for thought, especially the point about boatyards eking out the paint. Understandable, but unacceptable.

I think boatyard staff must have a special training course to learn how to paint a 40-footer with just a cupful of antifoul! Antifoul only works properly if a sufficient quantity is applied. With the cost of liftout and the preparation work needed, once antifouling you might as well paint lots on and get it to last 2 full years. I've been doing that for years, and always antifoul in the summer when marinas have cheap liftout deals. It's also a much more pleasant job in warmer weather.
