Cost of bringing boat back from Brest to UK.

It would work out cheaper if the boat came back on it's own hull. If you would like a quote PM me as I deliver boats (Full yachtmaster commercial)

Thanks for the thought,This particular and rather slow motorboat has been lying ashore for several years in Quimper and will need some work to even find out if the engines run ?
Hence the interest in bringing her back by truck not just due to the season but as to wether everything might go worryingly quiet while going round pte du Raz..?
However if you fancy a challenge :)

Brest/Medway

Sorry to intrude on a serious topic but I think you would have other problems if this voyage took you anywhere near the Pointe du Raz,although the point is well made.

Sounds a bit toppy.

If its a 33ft boat that should fit on any artic trailer or flatbed.

Perhaps there is omeone hungry for a return load to pay their otherwise empty ferry fare back to the UK?

H,mm thought so to,but its about 1100 miles round trip and then theres the "escort car" in France and ferry plus fuel etc etc.It was the first quote (and only )quote to come back so far.

hi Oldgit, Can you tell me what the sizes of the boat are? We have just moved a Windy Draco cruiser (3.8m wide) which required the pilot vehicle (and also subsequent increases of ferry prices) for £2850 inc vat. If you are interested, send a mail through the website stating MBMForum on the form so I know which boat it is! Also depends on where in UK you need boat delivered.

Simon.
