Cost of boat transport - Clyde

Anyone know a ballpark figure for moving a 27' boat approx. 25 miles in central Scotland? I'm away all summer and planning to keep the boat out of the water from late June to the following April - seems like getting the boat shipped to my home could be the cheapest option given the cost of keeping it on the hard/ cradle hire at my current location. Even if the costs work out roughly the same I would at least have the advantage of saving time and fuel costs travelling back and forward to do work on the boat during the winter. Are Shepherds the only option for moving boats in central Scotland?

Any ideas for cost effective option gratefully received - spent all my money and lots of the Bank of Scotland's on the boat over the last year /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Shepherd's moved mine from Clyde to Peterhead in 2006 for £500, excellent service and couldn't get anyone else near that figure.
