wake crossing

cut down the angle &use moderate speed & you will sort of roll over it,&yes her bum does look big in the picture!

We have just come back from a great trip to the Norfolk Broads from Lincoln. It was a fantastic trip and she handled the sea beautifully. :D

Where did you get to?

We got as far as Wells nts but couldn't see a weather window for coming back from Lowestoft, although we could have got there OK.

We loved Wells, and will be going back for sure, but next time won't be taking the dog I think, as it limits the passage time to 8 hours-ish and sometimes we need more in a displacement boat.

(Apologies to OP for thread drift)

We went into the Broads at Lowestoft, headed off to the Northern Broads went up as far as Wroxham then meandered back. Came back out at Great Yarmouth then had a few days in Wells on the way back. The weather picked up whilst we were in Wells and we only had one day of ok weather to get back. The sea was a bit on the bumpy side on the way back and at one point we had settled in for six or more hours of chugging along at 5 knots as the sea was too big for us to plane in. We did eventually get on the plane though and the sea flattened out as we entered the wash so we made good time. We evetually made it back to Boston on the same tide as we left Wells on. :D
