I was REALLY keen - but it's too close to Cowes Week, which is our main focus this year. Next time though ...

My only concern was hearing that they managed to run dry one day last time around. This seems indefensible in Ireland.

Try Commodore Yachting, I know they're doing Cork Week, not sure about the price though.

gissamoment!

I'll dust off the scanner, and see what I can do ... mind you theres nothing so boring as a boat that isnt yours, and cant sail YET!

We are down to details like upholstery choices, and whether to install refrigeration - so things are moving on. I've also transferred the final stage payment - just the sweepings to pay for before she is shipped.

The B&G RaceVision has arrived - I know you've already seen it, but what a cute bit of kit - and Deckvision seems pretty good too.

I was chatting to the tactical navigator on Bear of Britain last weekend about RaceVision, impressed though he has had it crash a few times.

Anyway, get that scanner cranked up - must see!

Done .. pictures can be found <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.navwiz.com/photokorn/index.php?action=showgal&cat=4>here</A>.

They are fairly low resolution, I'm afraid, as I was too lazy to work out how to crank it up a notch or two!

Thanks - due 29th June, then HYS to comission (2 weeks) (do I have her GelShielded), Diverse to fit electronics, then a week to calibrate instruments, and that leaves one week with the USA crew to work up before Cowes Week - definitely no time for FCW (oops not Ford any more!).

Wow!

Exciting to see the hull out of the mould. She's now a boat rather than a concept. Looks good in black.

Perusing the deck, appears that the mainsheet traveller is in place already. Looking at the Schock website. there are still a few interior mouldings to go in before the deck is joined.

Couldn't locate the cocktail cabinet...

Excellent, keep ths pics coming during the construction

No cocktail cabinet - we've compromised on vin rouge, as it doesnt need a fridge - that is being left to the winter work schedule. I have got a pick of a moulding going in and another in place - but they are'nt that meaningful - I'll try and scan them and add over the weekend.

I hope she will look good in the flesh, in black - but it's all a bit of a gamble how it will turn out!
