These can be quite expensive to replace when they no longer keep their charge.I have successfully taken my Hitachi ones apart and have fitted the much better Nickel Metal Hydride cells, they have no memory effect, and can not be over charged. You can buy them with solder tags from CPC Tel:08701202530. They come in various sizes so check the spec to make sure they fit and dispose of the old NiCad cells safely at your local recycling depot.Thats my tip for today!
