Our speed log was fouled last year on many occasions. I thought that I might cover the paddle with a thin layer of copperslip to slow down the weed growth


Anybody tried it? What are the chances of it working??

Copaslip !

It contains metallic copper particles.

Who knows. Try and report back ...

Would have thought it unlikely stay on for long, but it would make an interesting experiment.

Hope there is no ally around, copaslip+ally+seawater=good battery, but no ally. Copaslip eats ally in glycol, no matter about in seawater.

Why not just antifoul the paddle?
