If i had £75k i wouldnt be looking for a contessa 32.
I'm sure i'm going to get shot down for this but..
I have been told by quit a few people that they are not all they a crack up to be.

Well it was the class champion in 2005, so I'd guess it's pretty well sorted and the price of a new on was over £100k, last time I looked (you could still have a new one in the 90's), so perhaps it's not unrealistic for THIS boat. Ratters can be had for very much less though.
Hard to say but probably not much more overpriced than many boats on sail...9yrs old so lots depend on condition. Don't forget a 30 yr old contessa in poor codition wil sell for 25 K
The advert has expired so I don't know what the price is.
There's a big difference between the prices of "old" Contessas - those built back from the early seventies through to the early eighties and the recent ones built from the (mid?) nineties when Jeremy Rogers started building them again.
The recent ones look very nice - you can see details at the Jeremy Rogers website. They are not cheap and if you are in the market for a new boat at that price I'd also look at the Mystery 35, which like the Contessa, has a high ballast ratio and narrow beam - but quite a bit more room.
Older ones are, well, old. Any 30 year old boat is going to have some wear and tear but Contessas seem to have been well built on the whole, sail beautifully and look wonderful. I now have an AWB but I owned a 1978 CO32 for 13 years from 1991 and had some fantastic sailing and was never scared by the boat once.
Seller obviously thinks it's worth it ... but at that price - there are plenty of good boats around ... bigger and even faster ! Better accoms as well.
Classic boat - but ... I'd spend my money elsewhere ...
We met a brand new C32 on its maiden voyage around Ireland in 2005. The proud owner said that about one a year was still being made. The advert referred to in the OP has been withdrawn, but I'd guess a newish one would have a high asking price. The one we saw was immaculate - a work of art.
As I have been reminded on these forums, anything is worth what someone will pay for it, so if someone with money to burn wants a fast and good condition Contessa 32 enough then it is worth it.
Whether it will still be in good condition having sat unsold and unloved for a season or two is a mute point.
I happen to know the owner and the boat. Is the worth 75K?? well it depends what you are looking for - She is probably THE best CO32 available for sale at the moment, the only way that you could get one in better condition would be to buy a new one of Jeremy Rogers and that would cost a lot more. The owner has spent £xxxx's on this one keeping her in A1 condition.
People buy these boats because they love the way they look and the way they sail. You can normally buy a good late 70's/early 80's boat for 30-35K, cheaper than this is you are prepared to do some work. The good news is that you will never lose money on these boats as the price of them has been static for many years, in some cases the prices have even increased.
Oh, and if you hadn't guessed, I also own a beautiful CO32.

But if the high price being asked by your friend is because of all the £xxxx's spent on her, then surely as this equipment ages the value of the boat must depreciate to the level of the average CO32, £32-35k? The only way to maintain this higher value would to keep on spending.
