Following an earlier post where I asked for help in trying to connect my chartplotter to my autohelm as I could not get the autohelm to go into 'Track Mode'
After hours and hours of fiddling with wires, mnea connections and settings I eventualy cured the problem by getting absolutely mad /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif at the autohelm and stabbing at all the keys /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif. After that it worked !!. I think I just forced the unit to reset it's self and that was that.
Prior to that I found that both Standard Horizons and Raymarines tech people extremely helpful on the phone which is nice to know.
