are those cross hairs on the big pics standard procedure now to prevent copyright exploitation ?

Sad, isn't it, that one has to do that. Whatever happened to electronic tagging of the image (not the EXIF stuff) but embedded copyright ?

It stops people downloading an image for themselves. They have to buy it to get it free of embedded overlays.
Deeply embedded copyright info is not much cop unless the image is widely published and comes to your attention.

Popped down yesterday afternoon, lovely weather, new Bluebird cafe very nice. Always worth a visit just to hear 2000 hp starting up & maxxing out.
Turbine hydro was being fettled, which was a pity.

I'm surprised you got parked. The new cafe is very nice.

I haven't been this week as it's a bit of a let down from the east shore.

Ah yes, it was a bit of a bun fight but I found a space just by a police no parking sign (along with a hundred others) 50 yards from the caff.

When we had a sailfish 18 (then a Trident 24) on Coniston you could still see the 2 measured mile signs from the Campbell era on the east shore. Seems like yesterday but it was 30 years ago !

Going back Friday am to see what we can & hear those engines again.
