Just copied this down from the Concept Boat 2002 website:
"The theme for the 2002 Competition is 'TRANSPORTABLE BOAT'. Any design of recreational or commercial craft of up to 24m length to be used on or in water and capable of being easily transported by the user on, in or behind another vehicle, vessel or aircraft may be entered. All entries will need to show that not only are they viable boats or watercraft, but that they also are practical and easy to transport. For example craft to be towed by a family car should be of a size to ensure that they can be trailed through all the EU Countries. Other craft may have to fit into a container and should be relatively easy to prepare for use."
Now it seems to me you will need one helluva family car to haul a 24M boat. I fly Cargo 747's and I bet my loading experts will scratch their heads to get that one on board!
Ah well it did conjure amusing visions on this wet and windy morning....
Do you think someone ought to tell their webmaster?
