Compatible Echo Sounder Transducer

I have two Standard Horizon chart plotters which I have no intention to upgrade in the foreseeable future and an old Stow echo sounder which is in need of replacement.
As the CP's are capable of displaying echo soundings and obtaining a 2nd hand Standard Horizon transducer is remote I am hoping that there might be a compatible through hull transducer on the market. Am I hoping in vain or does anyone know of one?

Question : Does the SH CP accept transducer output without Echo Sounder Head unit ?? I would expect to have the Head Unit output NMEA to feed the CP ?? Or are the CP's dual units of E/S and Chart ?

Dual, as I remember. CP has a seperate socket for the echo sounder input.
