Compass24 clothing

Does anyone have firsthand experience of Compass 24 own brand clothing? I'm looking to buy a 'coastal tech suit' for my son.

Bought sailing clothing in the past and found to be " just OK". Perhaps best to buy a better quality. Other items from compass have proved a good buy eg binoculars.

compass gear is good for about a season then the leaks will begin to appear. Wasted money there before and will not do that again, now I have Musto MPX and what a difference in quality, bought at Ashford outlet store so the price was knocked down a bit and its well worth the expense. My son bought a Helly Hanson set from Force 4 the other year and I must say that is quite impressive gear as well and although not to the same spec as mine it is good quality kit and for a much lower price.

Had an Offshore 5000 suit for about 6 or 7 years before the jacket started leaking. It got a lot of everyday use, ski use & sailing use. Chest high trousers still going very strong. Like the price, breathable with zip in body warmer.

Great value IMO.

We have a couple of compass kits as backups and for guests. I found them to be very poor breathers... So far they have held up ok but very lite use. Swmbos using one jacket
Quite a bit this year... And has commented its not a Patch on her old musto.

Good for guests.

This website offers Musto HPX Ocean at £700 near enough.

I may be able to buy it for £250, but the fly in the ointment is that I have to buy 500 lots and all of "regular" size.

If only my sailing club had1500 members, I might have had a chance of getting the funds and guts together to do the deal.

But until then...

Just shows the profit these places makes though.
