compass for 26\' 30 year old yacht

Any suggestions for compass..... bracket mounted with self illumination (not 12v) biggish card easily readable under £100. The range is very confusing

Have got a Sowester Bosun, gimballed on a bracket, illuminous north moveable ring, liquid filled, about 6" across, bought it in the 70s for my converted pitch pine on oak, clinker built ships lifeboat. so it is period. nice condition, dusty!

Bought 2 bosuns, both off E-bay, one for £9.99 and one for £12.00. Made a bracket for both as brackets missing. So...............cheap as chips but God knows how you are supposed to apply correction to them! No illumination tho'.

Mine looks similar, no bracket though, same as the other chap, it was a piece of plastic,about an inch square, that always got left on the boat, easy enough to make though.
