I have been heavily invovled in the growth of coastal rowing that has been ongoing in Scotland over the last 18 months. A design was adopted which communities can build for themselves from a kit, and then row in teams of four rowers and a coxswain in races against other communities.
If anyone is in the North East of England, and would like to get invovled in a similar rewarding activity, south of the current border, they might want to pop along to a meeting in Newcastle on the 10th of November:
