Can anyone help me with information on this type of yacht please ? In particular how do they sail e.g. close-winded, heavy on helm, OK in a blow etc. At first glance they look a bit too tubby to sail really well.

Thanks in advance
Jim

Peter Coy is very knowledgeable and helpful.

PS - Go for the 33, you wont regret it, I haven't.

hi, i have a countess 28 i have owned for a couple of years now, i am still in the process of adjusting the sails and rigging, and she seems to get better each time, she is a bilge keeler, you can also get a fin, which would most probably sail better, i sail the irish sea area, and she is quite a heavy boat and would need a good bit of wind to get her going. you can get copyshop details about her....her accomodation and headroom is excellent , try and get a sail and see for yourself if she is a boat for u...
