Hi,currently own a colvic atlanta, but, am seriously considering selling her and buying a colvic beta.My ambition is to take the beta n/s through the French w/ways.My questons are would the beta be suitable for offshore use, also, would she be good for the inland w/ways?
thankyou

We have a 38' Colvic Beta with twin 160 hp New Holland engines. We bought her this year and are delighted with her performance.

Previously sailors, this is the first Motor Yacht we have had but it performs better than we had expected.

The hull is very solidly built and although we are still finding our way round, I am sure she would tick all your boxes.

We operate in inshore waters, NW Scotland and she is fine for that. She would be excellent for use on the canals and good in open waters too.

If you just plan an inland route to the Med' then no problem, but for lengthy use on EU inland rivers and canals I would have thought it too tall?
