Ok I couldn't resist a peep.
There have been some good sensible points made and some silly ones but in summary:
I understand that power gives way to sail and I did.
I accept that people make mistakes but an acknowledgement would have been welcome.
I sail as well as motor and I know that power boaters probably annoy you sailors more than the other way around. I am often ashamed of my fellow power boaters who cruise close to a sailing yacht at 25 knots without a second thought.
Whilst I accept that power gives way courteous and sensible application of this rule would benefit us all.
