Internal bleeding, you're off to Athens tonight for an endoscopy'. Four days in Athens, more blood, examinations, top quality nursing looking after drips and tranfusions.
I'm now back in Finkounda in full working order. The Athens guys told me it was a very close shave . . . UK advice, given the data, confirm that.
When Greece is good, it's very very good. Yes, parts are primitive and inaccessible. All round though, it is the least threatening country in Europe. Where else can you leave your belongings untended while you travel? leave your phone charging on a bar and find it the next day, still sitting there untouched, have your wallet handed to you a week after loss by a complete stranger when you return to a village you visited briefly?
